I have heard that the
former East River Savings Bank/Century 21 (Walker & Gillette, 1933-34) may
also have suffered serious damage with debri falling on and thorugh its roof.

What I saw when I was
down there was that the tall windows facing Church Street - probably bronze,
but not sure- are blown out. The masonry seemed intact. I did not notice the
roof collapse but perhaps this is only visible from above. I don't think the
roof collapsed. -- Alex Herrera
