From the New York Times, Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001:
"Building too close to recovery operation to be inspected."
From the preserve.org listserver (23 Sep 2001):
125 Cedar
Street/120 Liberty Street, is a good looking 1895 Romanesque Revival
building, 12 stories, brick, brownstone & terra cotta. The ground floor at
Liberty Street was altered but it is otherwise intact (except windows). The
building next door, 114 Liberty Street is a decent classical revival, 12
story masonry building. The other buildings on the east end of Liberty between
Greenwich and Trinity are Italianate, clearly on top but very altered.
