Jackson Heights is a landmark neighborhood of private homes, spacious cooperative apartments and rentals surrounded by greenery, only 20 minutes from midtown Manhattan by subway.

Jackson Heights is a neighborhood of.... Homes, Gardens, Schools, Shops, the Arts and Architecture.

"The garden apartments of Jackson Heights are remarkable not because they are quaint and charming, but because they still bring to New Yorkers of more modest means a taste of the life that otherwise can only be had more abundantly in Manhattan’s most glamorous and venerated apartment houses."
- Architect and Yale School of Architecture Dean Robert A.M. Stern.

The Jackson Heights Beautification Group

Begun in 1988, the Jackson Heights Beautification Group is a grassroots group that’s made a major difference in this ethnically diverse neighborhood.

Among its achievements, JHBG volunteers have banished graffiti, beautified Travers Park and spearheaded the move to bring New York City landmark and National Register Status to the neighborhood.
